Collagen is the most abundant protein in the human body, and is an essential constituent of connective tissue (cartilage, tendons, bones and skin). The body is constantly renewing these tissues and to ensure that this regeneration takes place properly it needs specific nutrients, such as proteins and magnesium and vitamin C. Its powder format and pleasant strawberry taste make it an ideal addition to liquid foods like water and fruit juice and semi-solid foods like yoghurt.
Indications
Recommended for the regeneration of any tissue, as in cases of osteoarthritis, tendinitis, torn ligaments and muscle soreness, and for keeping tendons, ligaments, bones and muscles in perfect condition. Other indications include deterioration of the skin, broken blood vessels (spontaneous bruising), hair loss and brittle nails. The recommended dose is 3 dessertspoonfuls a day taken separately at regular intervals, wherever possible.
