Collagen is the most abundant protein in the human body and can be found in the bones, skin, joints, gums, blood vessels, teeth and cartilage. There are several types of collagen, the most common being type 1 and 3, which is provided in our Collagen & Vitamin C Powder. Type 2 collagen is found in higher amounts in the joints. Vitamin C contributes to normal collagen formation in the body, making it the perfect counterpart to supplemental collagen. Each UC-II Capsule provides 40mg of standardised chicken cartilage, which contains undenatured Type 2 Collagen. We recommend taking one capsule per day, which can be used as an easy-to-swallow alternative to chunky glucosamine tablets.
